Geo-Mapping Solutions
Overview
As organizations maintain ever-increasing data sets of their customers, clients, service providers and so on, the data becomes increasingly complex and hence very difficult to show in comprehensible graphical form. Due to the recent proliferation of geo-targeting and mapping applications, the old map has become a very useful tool in terms of both displaying complex and voluminous user data, as well as presenting it for future drill down analysis, and other views previously unheard of.
Next Steps
Silvermine has two decades worth of managing the large data sets that underlie these typese of analyses and data visualizations, as well as recent expertise working with mainstream offerings lilke Bing Maps (shown here) and Google Maps, but also proprietary solutions build with any manner of technologies. We adhere to current best practices for structuring and maintaining XML and other structured data, and can work with you to build and extensible solution tailored to your specific needs.

For your edification, we have put together a few demos to show just a slight bit of our capabilities in this regard. At this link is aninteractive map of the San Francisco showing major traffic area incidents on an interactive time horizon integrating functionality with a third party tool, a heatmap demo showing how pins and other meta data can be superimposed over a geogrpahical map through importing an XML file hosted anywhere, and a more detailed view of similar functionality showing sights and directions for pedestrians
