Paul Mealey, concurrent with his duties as a managing director at Pathfinder Associates, and sole owner of Silvermine Media has been a technical and business Project Manager for the past 15 years.

Paul has managed cross functional, and internationally distrubuted teams successfully, time and again. In addition to his strong Product Leadership acumen, Paul is well versed in all Product Management practices, and has held significant product development leadership roles throughout his career.

Mr. Mealey personally was a key player in pre-planning, positioning and launch of WWE's successful social media suite of applications, as well as directing the launch of My Sotheby's new client portal and leading its deployment into production.

wwe-150While at WWE, Mr. Mealey also conceived the original business, architected the financial business model, managed the business relationship with creative partner Brothers by Choice, technology partner DigitalSmiths, and launched WWE SmashUps.

SmashUps is tightly controlled on-line user generated audio and video platform which remains WWE's most profitable online product to date. Smash ups derives all of its revenue from branded sponsorships, rather than a pay per click or pay per time on site model.

Paul was previously VP, and Web Master of the Sothebys.com website and support team, and was VP of Product Development for Ziff Davis Internet.

Silvermine Media has, of course, its own professional blog - SMM Technology Blog - which has been featured as a part of this site's branding now for several years.

Healthcare IT: In the healthcare field, Mr. Mealey has worked with multiple regulated, non-regulated and governmental agencies to drive a SOAP-based web service project forward, and simultaneously helped to refine existing document standards that participants in the healthcare sector relyupon to transmit and receive patient and claims data. Subsequent to the project Paul has been maintaining a wiki-type glossary for public consumption, designed to answer many of the technical and bureacractic questions posed by recent entrants into the space.
